Review: Stylish and versatile, but magnet could be better - I like this mag-compatible wallet a lot more than I thought I would. I dont use it to be a wallet that I always have on my phone, but on the occasions that I just want my phone and wallet with me, it's very convenient to be able to slap it on the bag and be good to go. What I especially like about this wallet is how it holds just the cards I want to bring with me without being bulky. I don't like to carry alot in my wallet to begin with, but I can easily fit 4-5 cards with a bill or two in it and it's not a bulky thing hanging off my phone. I have actually switched from my regular wallet to this wallet because it is versatile and can double as a regular wallet and goes into pockets or bags super easy and this way I don't have to worry about switching my cards over between wallets if I want to slap it on my phone. The pull tag for pulling the cards out to grab the one you one is an under rated feature that more wallets show incorporate. Very useful and convinient. The magnet strength is fine, but there are definitely strong magnets out there. It will move around on your phone a bit, but still stays on pretty securely. The flap that goes over the cards has a magnet in it that is also decent, but could be stronger. It's just a little too easy to flip open in my opinion. That being said, your cards will not just fall out if the flap comes open. Overall, very happy with the the wallet and think it's a very decent value for the money you spend on it. I don't think it's for everyone, but those who are looking for a wallet for my reasons like I listed above will appreciate this wallet. UPDATE (June 2026) I stumbled on my old review and was surprised to see I had only rated it 4 stars so I had to come back to update it. This is by far my favorite wallet I have ever owned. The magnet strength is actually great (I think I had a phone case that wasn't very compatible at the time) and the magnet on the flap that covers the cards is plenty strong. Love this wallet and I will probably never get another one (unless they come out with more colors). I will say it's a little pricey, but I have no regrets with this wallet for my daily use. It's a fantastic wallet for minimum carriers like myself.
Review: My favorite MagSafe minimalist wallet. - As a Peak Design fan I had to give this a go and out of the handful of MagSafe wallets I’ve tried this was the clear winner. Great as a minimalist wallet on or off the iPhone. Magnets are strong enough without being cumbersome to take off as I use it on the iPhone when I want to keep things together but I would say 80% of the time it fits perfectly in my sling or backpack. Looks great. Holds 3-7 cards just fine and even a folded bill depending on your layout. Pulling cards out is easy and it’s held up very well after a year of use. Pricey for sure, but with a lifetime warranty I think it’s worth it.

A: So they sell two versions of this product; if you buy the one with the stand, the stand itself, along with the wallet pouch, can stick to any magnetic surface.

**Q: Is the magnet as strong for attachment without peak design case?**
A: The peak design magnet is strong, the case does make it a stronger attachment because the case has a strong magnet as well.

I like this mag-compatible wallet a lot more than I thought I would. I dont use it to be a wallet that I always have on my phone, but on the occasions that I just want my phone and wallet with me, it's very convenient to be able to slap it on the bag and be good to go. What I especially like about this wallet is how it holds just the cards I want to bring with me without being bulky. I don't like to carry alot in my wallet to begin with, but I can easily fit 4-5 cards with a bill or two in it and it's not a bulky thing hanging off my phone. I have actually switched from my regular wallet to this wallet because it is versatile and can double as a regular wallet and goes into pockets or bags super easy and this way I don't have to worry about switching my cards over between wallets if I want to slap it on my phone. I recently got this as a Christmas present from the wife... The initial reason for selecting this one was due to the capacity that it holds. I had another brand that could up to 4 which was my minimum requirement. Ideally, I wanted one that would hold at least 5 so I could hold id, personal and business cards. This made the difference! The ONLY reason this is not getting 5 stars is due to the MagSafe design. The magnet itself holds well with 5 robust cards BUT when you add 6-7 I feel that the weight causes it to bump off fairly easily. Not a big deal but something to note. Additionally, and this is the bigger factor, the magnet only holds to the ring portion of the MagSafe design and not the vertical line portion underneath. This added magnet helps keep the wallet from 'spinning' in place on the back of your phone versus keeping it perfectly aligned with the phone. It's not a make it or break it but again... worth noting. If you are use to having the vertical magnet you will notice the difference for a little while but eventually will get used to it. This would be a huge improvement but I would still buy again. Quality of product is there and the pull tab is a super nice added feature compared to the wallets that require you to push up on the cards.
