He has autism and is a sensory seeker so him sitting still for any amount of time is really hard for him but with this sensory bin it kept him busy and entertained for hours! Ordered this for our 5 year-old grandson for Christmas. It was a hit for the 20 minutes we stayed after the gift opening. He immediately unboxed it, set up the sand, and started moving the construction trucks around. Then he discovered the wheels come off, and he set off to fix them with the included tools. I don't know if he continues to play with it after the initial Christmas rush, but I suspect he does as this is right up his alley.
