I just grease it before putting cake batter in but don't use baking paper to line and the cakes come away perfectly without any sticking. Baking well and evenly. I had the same issue as a previous reviewer of the bottom tipping out until I realised that you need to put the base on the worktop and the place the tin over it and do it up. Then it is flush to the bottom of the tin and does not fall out.
