Review: Perfect Little Bass Blockers for 3.5" Dash Speakers - I installed these RECOIL BB-35 bass blockers inline on my new Kicker 3.5" speakers, and they do exactly what I needed them to do. In my setup, the 3.5" dash speakers are installed in parallel with 6.5" Kickers on the same channel of the amp. These bass blockers help keep the low-end bass out of the smaller dash speakers, which lets the 6.5" speakers hit a little harder in the mid-bass while the 3.5" speakers handle the cleaner highs like they should. The result is a better-balanced sound with less distortion from the dash speakers, especially when turning the volume up. They are well made, compact, and easy to install. The wiring was straightforward, and they were small enough to tuck away in my 2023 Jeep JL dash without making the install messy. For the price, these are hard to beat. Great product at a great price, and they worked exactly as expected.

**Q: Will these work on 4 inch speakers?**
A: Yes, these bass blockers can be used to protect your 4" speakers as well. The BB-35 blocks frequency under 2800Hz for 4Ohm speaker, The BB-4 blocks frequency under 1200Hz for 4Ohm speaker.

**Q: How muh does it block on 1 ohm ?**
A: Following quick and dirty math, the frequency doubles at 2 ohm (0-600 hz).  That would make 1 ohm frequency blocking 0-1200 hz.

**Q: Will these fit in the upper dash of a Wrangler JL for the tweeters?**
A: Yes, these bass blockers are super small and compact, they should fit into the upper dash of Wrangler.

**Q: I have 4 ohms tweeters, how will it sound with these 4 ohms blockers?**
A: All it will do is drop off the lower frequencies (which tweeters can't play anyway). Your highs will play through perfectly.

I installed these RECOIL BB-35 bass blockers inline on my new Kicker 3.5" speakers, and they do exactly what I needed them to do.
