One I bought off Amazon warehouse at a steal of a deal, and the other was brand new. I paired them up with an American audio mixer and they sound great with my jbl monitor speakers. I have this set up in my garage just for practice, because its a hassle to be setting up my professional stuff all the time. They work just fine and i would probably recommend these for someone that's just starting out. I've seen alot of mediocre to negative reviews on these 500's ,but you got to remember that their very inexpensive, and won't perform like the expensive equipment that's out there. Be sure to use quality usb flash drives.
