I got a great deal on one, but its battery was fully dead. After a long charge, I found that one of the three cells couldn't hold a charge. So I looked this up and got the thing open so I could swap out the battery. The elliptical is running beautifully now! So, yep this battery does everything it's supposed to, right down to having the correct placement of screw holes to attach to the machine's frame. Review: Replacement for Life Fitness C9i exercise bike - Needed a replacement battery for my LifeCycle C9i. The display would not light up. This can happen with an old battery (like mine) or if you don't use the bike for a number of months (like mine). Replacement requires T20 and T30 Torx screwdrivers to remove the right side of the shell and one pedal. You will also need to remove the front two screws from the left side shell to allow access to the battery. You may also need a T30 socket if the pedal screws are hard to remove. You will need regular screwdriver to remove the battery screws and a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the battery connectors.
