First the Lipstick then the glue. Then press the glitter evenly into the glue. It lasted all for about 5 hours. And I had lunch! A bit came off but it still looked great. I used the Nutrogena wipes. Have base lip color of ColorPop “Ice Pop” lip stain (blotted) & red was the 1st day I tried it out wearing Haus labs “Ruby Shine” & after driving to work & drinking a whole drink. The second Day I wore it, the glitter stayed on better. Both days added clear glass (Jeffree Star). I will say, it feels a little gritty on but not uncomfortable on lips. One of the reviewers recommended to dip the applicator in water to pick up the glitter in the pot & I would definitely recommend that as to not make a mess w/the glitter. The adhesive you put on to adhere the lip glitter is a little chunky & has little chemical smell. The instructions do not say how long to wait for it to be “half dry” but I’d say I waited 20-30 seconds to apply. Would say the glitter could be drying if you do not keep your lips moisturized but I had no issues. Love the color & got several compliments on it from other women (even had one co worker order it after I sent her the link!) Absolutely love, love the colors & you can’t beat the price. It stayed on pretty well after that 1st day (as you can see in the pics the red came off in the center but that may have been user error or the type of base lip stain I used, will try to update later after more wear). Stayed on for a good 5-6 hours but did not eat while wearing it but I don’t think it would not last through eating & reapplication is a “no go” due to the steps that have to be taken to reapply. Overall, the glitter is small & looks great, feels a bit gritty but if you can deal w/that I’d say it is worth a try.
