The cologne comes beautifully packaged in a flip top gift box with the English Laundry logo embossed on the inner liner fabric. The bottle itself is quite large with an attractive. The bottle has an ombré effect to it and is very flat and wide. The scent is lightly musky, but still had a nice kick of freshness to it. It’s a pretty standard scent, and when applied is not overly strong. The husband liked that it’s not an overpowering type of scent and I liked how you couldn’t smell the scent unless you got up close - this is not one of those “everyone in the elevator can smell you” kind of cologne. This works well as an everyday type of cologne - it’s not unique enough according to the husband, but it’s still a good scent worth trying. If you can try it out in store, definitely do so before buying a bottle - colognes smell differently on different people, so what worked for the husband may not work the same for you.
