The 16000 is the two-trap package. The 30442 is the six-trap package. I think they both are the same trap. **Q: How do you keep trap from closing when you set it** A: Hold it open with one hand while putting the bait on it. Set it where you want it, and then open it. If you open it as the last step, it should stay open **Q: Trap won’t stay open** A: Over time, the spring does get weaker and at some point, won't stay open.
