Review: Great stuff $ saver - So I had a leaky transmission pan that would go thru about a gallon of transmission fluid a year. I had to constantly check my transmission fluid level and when it was low my car would shift terribly. I've brought my car to two different mechanic shops and neither of them could totally fix the leak. I spent almost $1000 on them. I sprayed about 6 coats of this one day. It helped the leak but didn't stop it. I did the same again and it completely stopped the leak. Years and 5 mechanics later this was the only thing that worked for me. I used this a little over a year ago and it's still not leaking.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well for the right situation
*by J***W on July 25, 2026*

I used this to seal oil leaking from around the front timing cover of my Mom's 2011 Nissan Juke with around 70,000 miles, it has been leaking for years and slowly getting worse, it was to where she was adding a quart of oil every month or so, she looked into having the cover resealed properly by her mechanic and we decided that it was not worth the cost if we could lessen the leak fairly easily, removing and resealing the timing cover is an easy job except for the problem of not having good access to it on the car, I read a lot of reviews for this product and the biggest thing I got from them was that cleaning area is key, I cleaned with brake cleaner and wiped as much as I could but it was not easy as space is limited, I was able to get most of the area but not all near the top and luckily it was only leaking on the side toward the rear of the car because there is no room to clean or seal the side toward front of car, after cleaning many times I warmed up the engine as directions state, which caused more oil that I had to clean, then I sprayed about 20 coats of the sealer, I put a ton on because I think it would be hard to recoat in the future if it continues to leak, I used 1/2 to 3/4 of the can, it has been a couple of months and seems to be holding up well, still leaking a little at the top where I could not get to but now I have not had to add oil to her car since, I will keep checking her oil level which is good practice on any car, I don't know if this is a permanent solution but it seems good for being able to put off until maybe something bigger needs fixed and it makes more sense to go through what needs to be done to remove and reseal the cover, another note on timing cover leaks is that my Dad had a Lincoln MKX that developed a timing cover oil leak and was told by mechanic that the only way to reseal was to remove the engine from the car to gain access to which was outrageous expensive, he has more money and opted to buy a brand new Cadillac so in my opinion this stuff is worth a try for the cost and the small time investment MAKE SURE YOU TAPE OFF ANYTHING IT COULD GET ON SUCH AS THE BELT AND EXHAUST AND ANY OTHER MOVING PARTS, IT MAKES A NASTY STICKY MESS ON THINGS OVERSPRAY GETS ON
