When I looked through it for distance it did not have any cloudy effect but it was not at night with lights shining through it, but it seemed crystal clear and even removed the rubber tar like stuff on the window. I cleaned half and tried my best for pics I would try this on your back window or a side window first and then check it at night, worst case is you wind up with an excellent product to clean your vehicle I am in no way affiliated with this seller or the manufacturer, I just like to see helpful reviews when I am looking at stuff.
