While managing the Nanterre Foundry, he had the notion to use his skills to create toys. It doesn't have an opening boot or bonnet, but it has opening doors and a nicely detailed interior. 1/18 is always a nice display size, and yes, there are other companies that have versions with an engine and other hidden details, but they are considerably more expensive.
