Review: Suited my needs perfectly - I had an old style door slot with flaps in both sides that was too small for some of these door mail boxes. I wasn’t interested or able to cut a larger hole to fit the new dimensions of the metal flange for almost every kind of these mail boxes on the market. So I bought this because I saw that the box itself had a wide enough opening. I did not use the mail flap or the funnel that came with this as the mail flap opening is much thinner than the mail slot on the door now which the mailman already struggles with. I removed the flap that was on the inside of the door and attached the box to the door with the screws provided. The box is large enough for magazines and legal sized envelopes and all the junk mail. The only thing that sucks with this is the lock. The little tumbler wheel is not smooth rolling and I don’t foresee it lasting long. I attached a photo to show how the interior is lined up with an existing door slot opening. If you already have an opening, you should be good to go if you don’t want to remove the mail slot flap already installed.

**Q: Anyone know how big the faceplate at the entry? I need to know if it will fit between to vertical mullions in my storefront.**

The entry size of the through the wall dDrop box is about 9.88 x 2.6 inch.

**Q: Can you use your existing mail slot on the exterior of the door instead of the flap that comes with this?**
A: No on my door with standard mail slot.

**Q: How thick an item will go thru the opening? Listing says 'Inlet size 3"x10.4" ' so will a 3-inch thick envelope truly go in? If not, how thick?**
A: The wall opening size is 75mm (2.95276") Height & 265mm (10.4331") Lenght. All books or docs below indicated above size will go thru.

**Q: I threw out the box. Was there a manual in there with the unlock code or something? How do I open it to take out the parts ?**
A: On the combination lock, dial all to 0 to open door then set your own key code per instruction.
