I was introduced to this brand through a lightning sale on Amazon. I have been slowly moving toward more natural cleaning methods and I thought I would give it a try. Since it was on sale, I bought the Fresh and Gentle for x-sensitive skin (for my family members with eczema). We tend to go through Fresh first. When time to reorder, I gave Calm a try too. Not only do all 3 do a great job of getting clothing clean, I have noticed that our clothes are a lot softer. None of the formulas aggravated mild to moderate eczema. The scents of Fresh and Calm have a natural essential oil scent. I like the scents but that's a matter of personal preference. My experience has been that neither scents linger on clothing or linens. If you want more of a lingering scent, you might consider an additive for that. I add a small amount of fabric softener. I have been able to cut down on the amount of fabric softener that I would normally use. I have liked this so much that it is a part of my "Subscribe and Save" which helps offset the price. But, as with other things, some things are worth paying a little more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars This Saved My Wedding Dress *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2017* I've been using Pureturgent for some time and was happy to find it through Amazon. I was helping out in the kitchen right before my wedding and splashed balsamic vinegar across the chest of my wedding dress. I took Puretergent and dabbed it on the not-yet-set stain. I waited 10 minutes and put one wet paper towel on the inside of the stain and one on the outside of the stain. I proceeded to pinch the stain so that the vinegar would move from my dress to the paper towels. It took a few changings of the paper towels, but it worked. Later, I brought my dress to the dry cleaner and asked her if she could remove the stain on my dress. She couldn't find it. I pointed to the spot where the vinegar had been. She still couldn't see it.As far as conventional use goes, I used this product in my old-style washing machine and now in my HE one. It does well in both. Also, I wash all of my clothes in cold water.
