Each TYC radiator is leak-d before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality. Same gauge material as OE and Installation requires no modifications. Review: Good qauality, perfect fit - Perfect fit, appears very good quality, but time will tell. Put already about 40,000 miles on it, and happy. Would buy again. Review: Perfect Fit, but CAUTION - Exact fit for MK4 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 2.8L VR6 24v. CAUTION!! The original fan mount may not clear the new radiator. I did not notice this prior to installation and after about two years, the fan mount created a hole in the radiator from rubbing. This is not the radiator's fault at all. Had to buy a new one, of course. Just be aware and trim the fan mount to get the clearance if necessary. I used a dremel. Sand the ridge after trimming to remove sharp edges. 100 grit works well ## Features - OE-comparable configuration and appearance - Vehicle test-fitted prior to market release, ensuring perfect drop-in fit - Plastic-aluminum radiators are brazed with the state-of-the-art Nocolok furnace process - Aluminum treated coating is applied to prevent corrosion and ensure product longevity ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000IYSIO8 | | Auto Part Position | Center | | Auto part position | Center | | Automotive Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Brand | TYC | | Brand Name | TYC | | Color | Black | | Colour | Black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 282 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Aluminum | | Exterior finish | Aluminum | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00762405251998 | | Installation Type | Self-Adhesive | | Item Weight | 7.05 Pounds | | Manufacturer | TYC | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2265 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Amazon Warranty | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 2265 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 1J0 121 253 AD | | Part Interchange Info | 1J0 121 253 AD | | UPC | 762405251998 | | Vehicle service type | Car | ## Product Details - **Brand:** TYC - **Color:** Black - **Exterior Finish:** Machined - **Material:** Aluminum - **Vehicle Service Type:** Car, Truck ## Images ![TYC 2265 Compatible with Vollkswagen Golf 1-Row Plastic Aluminum Replacement Radiator - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71sMFPM8DcL.jpg) ![TYC 2265 Compatible with Vollkswagen Golf 1-Row Plastic Aluminum Replacement Radiator - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CnkgMaXzL.jpg) ![TYC 2265 Compatible with Vollkswagen Golf 1-Row Plastic Aluminum Replacement Radiator - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/612XXSMrj8L.jpg) ![TYC 2265 Compatible with Vollkswagen Golf 1-Row Plastic Aluminum Replacement Radiator - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615E9WT+RjL.jpg) ![TYC 2265 Compatible with Vollkswagen Golf 1-Row Plastic Aluminum Replacement Radiator - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gVRdZSaEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good qauality, perfect fit *by A***D on 6 December 2025* Perfect fit, appears very good quality, but time will tell. Put already about 40,000 miles on it, and happy. Would buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Fit, but CAUTION *by J***S on 2 November 2025* Exact fit for MK4 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 2.8L VR6 24v. 100 grit works well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits as should *by S***E on 26 February 2023* Replaced a few days ago. About 200 miles in and no issues yet. Only fitment issue is on the lower left side there is a spot to secure an ac condenser line that does not quite fit properly. I was able to secure it but had to put the screw on sideways. (Hard to describe but of you do the job you will see what I mean) for the price I would buy it again if I ever do another one. ## Frequently Bought Together - TYC 2265 Radiator Compatible with 1999-2005 Volkswagen Golf - Dorman 902-919 Radiator Coolant Hose Connector Compatible with Select Audi / Volkswagen Models - Dorman 627-005 Radiator Coolant Hose Connector Compatible with Select Audi/Volkswagen Models --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/413190928-tyc-2265-compatible-with-vollkswagen-golf-1-row-plastic-aluminum](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/413190928-tyc-2265-compatible-with-vollkswagen-golf-1-row-plastic-aluminum) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
