A: I take 1 rounded tablespoon twice a day. Ive been taking it for over two years.

A: Have no idea. Have never added it to baked goods, just mix with water and drink.

I bought this because it doesn't contain the additives that Metamucil and others have and contains a high quality psyllium husk. It really is a high quality product. I mix it with room temperature juice as I think it helps to dissolve better instead of clump up like it does with cold juice. There is a mild taste to it but you can barely taste it when it's mixed with juice. It did take me a couple of glasses to get used to the texture and taste but now I'm so used to it, I don't even notice it. I started taking it bc my dr wanted me to start taking a fiber supplement to help with my cholesterol and I'm happy to report that it has helped bring down my triglycerides from 450 to 76, although I still have high LDL cholesterol and high total cholesterol (my total cholesterol did come down though just not within normal limits). I will continue taking this since it seems to be helping. Just be careful, you want to drink plenty of fluids with any fiber supplement otherwise it can constipate you.

I was using a smaller amount that was in a plastic container but I decided to try the larger amount because it saves money and I use it everyday and I have to say the container that it is in in this size is also some form of plastic but it is much more quality and you are able to close it much tighter so air doesn't get in I feel like the product is much more protected for shelf life and this container I don't know if this is typical but for some reason this powder has been much easier to briskly stir into water and has almost no lumps happening at all when dissolving the powder the previous container the smaller one I don't know every time I start it or shook it or tried to do the best way it always ended up with lumps in it still and I had to scoop them out because it's not good to drink lumps of this product so I got to say if you're going to buy this product you should go for this one it is my new go to
