I knew the second I opened the package that the protective film on each half had more adherence than the sticky pads in the back. Out of the 4, 1/2 inch covers and two of the 1 inch covers, all but one half of each, stayed to the wall. I had to pull out the caulk gun just to get them to stay adhered to the wall, which completely defeats the purpose. It was also my mistake, that these would be a heavier material content (the pictures make it look like these are a solid piece machined from a blank, but alas no. Cheaply made punch press feel from a bargain bin at the local hardware store for .99 is all they really are. Bottle caps have more quality to them than these. The worst part was that I also assumed that these “snapped” together around the pipe but no…they could have saved any time or effort and just cut them in half without any “slot” and called it a day. Bubble gum machine garbage.
