A two wash per week schedule is what works best for my scalp and ends to stay healthy. I tend to use a clarifying shampoo on my roots and scalp as I work in anesthesia and they tend to get more buildup of dry skin/oils. This also means that my dry ends become drier and I’ve been looking for a solution to this for a while. I genuinely love this product and now use it exclusively for conditioner rather than a mask. A smaller amount than you would expect, maybe a quarter sized amount for each half of my hair is plenty to saturate from roots to ends with my hair reaching down the mid back in length and VERY thick.
