She was gracious enough to let me do so. Now that summer is here I knew she could use some lighter more breathable bras. In the process of purchasing some other bras I had come across this one and I wanted to show it to her as we are getting ready for a seven night Caribbean cruise that has a formal attire evening while we're on vacation. I knew this bra would go well with her formal dress that she has, and she agreed to try this bra out. She gave this four stars because the first bra that showed up although was the right cup size (42DD) the band going around her back was extremely itchy for her. As noted above the size 42DD was correctfor this brand, whereas she is typically 38DDD wearing a Victoria's secret product. So she returned the first bra she purchased. The first one that she purchased was the beige and black that had the itchy material in the band going around her back. Otherwise everything else with that first bra worked perfectly. The bra that is pictured with this review has a little bit different material in the band going around her back which is softer and did not cause any itchiness for her at all. And she is very happy about the straps as they don't dig into her shoulders and her exact words were "they're nice and wide." She said she wants to keep this one. I'm happy this one worked out as we leave for our cruise in 4 days. And I can't wait to see how amazing she's going to look on formal night in her dress. I'm sure I will not be able to keep my eyes off of her, to be honest I can't wait either LOL. Color is spot on. Price point isn't bad.CONS: No lining & itchy in odd places.For women who have already made the bodily sacrifice and have had the very essence of their dairy pillows depleted to a pitiful sack of low hanging flesh-bags ... this style may or may not be "flattering". In my case it ended up being "flattening". My poor chesticles jiggled around in the cups like jello in an earthquake. Ended up giving the bra to my daughter (who's partly responsible for the sorry state of my headlights). I just barely fit the cups and the rib area fits un the largest setting but not the best in comfort. I could do with a size or two up in the ribs. I dont know if a cup size up would be too big or not.Overall it looks JUST like the picture. Kind of cheep material and based on the look out of the package dont expect much. Boy was I wrong. Perfect lift, perfect shape, and I did some bend and bounce tests (with husband in jaw dropped witness) and it passed.
