The story was ok but the language just spoiled it for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super Sexy Max Becomes Hailey's Fiancé in All the Best Ways *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2017* Max works as a Chicago luxury real estate agent. He meets Hailey as she is looking for a new location for her growing matchmaking business. They are instantly attracted, but neither acts on it. Hailey has been burned in the game of love, so she took to wearing an engagement ring both to seem more credible to her matchmaking clients and to focus on her business and not her poor dating life. Max is an honorable, great guy and while he is far more interested in Hailey then he should be, he would never act on it because he believes she is engaged.One day Hailey is cornered by a client's mother to give the name of her fiancé.....and she names Max Sterling. Later, that leads her into trouble that Max is kind enough to support her through. The revelation that she is not engaged gives Max a green light to pursue Hailey. They keep up the fake engagement for mutually beneficial reasons. Enjoy reading the crazy that follows as the ruse becomes truth, Max helps Hailey's self-image issues and feelings become all to real. We also get to visit a previous couple from this series and see how Wes and Natalie are doing.This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I'm looking forward to Kyle finding someone who makes him want to give up his player ways next. ### ⭐⭐ It's the authors who are "faking it" *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2017* To say this book was phoned in is an insult to telephones everywhere. I'll grant you, pick up a book about a "fake engagement" and you know it's not going to be Shakespeare. However, interesting characters and a little more plot would make the reading experience enjoyable, perhaps even memorable. None of that applies to "Faking It." To begin with H and h act and react like fifth graders but here again I might be insulting fifth graders. And the Big Conflict in the end is resolved by (spoiler alert) HIS MOTHER. Finally, the villain of the piece is a cartoon character that doesn't so much inspire the reader to cheer for her unmasking as make us roll our eyes.I've read reviews before where the reviewers toss out the possibility that the author had "help" from an anonymous assistant because the book just doesn't read like the author as you've come to know her through her previous work.
