I wish it wasn't quite so expensive. Over the years the price has almost doubled, although I have been using it for many years. But it's such a pleasure to work with, very pliable, with easy clean-up, and doesn't need firing. And it's so much fun! I highly recommend it. I use it to hold swatches of fabric, yarn, pieces of styofoam, etc. in place as well as providing thickness to all tecture. I am not finished the painting. No problems so far. **Q: Can this be used on a wood canvas that will hang outside as long as gloss will be applied over the entire peice?** A: No unless you get some of that marine or boat sealant from a hardware store. Otherwise, it it will chop off and the picture will fade.
