I already have normal packing cubes** A: If you tightly role your clothes before placing in the cube they compression function of the cube won’t make much of a difference. If your clothes are loose or something like a jumper it will compress the item. **Q: How do they compress? Do you need a vacuum or sit on them or how please?** A: You don’t need anything. They are flat when empty and compress clothing when closed with the sit. I’m very happy with them. The largest cube is the perfect size for a carry-on backpack. They are brilliant for compressing clothes and saving space, which makes packing much more efficient. I’ve used them many times for city breaks with only hand luggage, and they easily fit enough clothes for 3–4 days.
