I like the lip-rest, which makes it easy to blow. I have purchased multiple flutes over a period of months, and it is delightful to see perfect tuning and consistent sound quality! I am a beginner player and have played bamboo flutes in the past which are maintenance intensive. I was initially apprehensive about the PVC material, but found it to be very melodious and easier to play. It is excellent for early learners and for practice. I can imagine giving a performance with it too, since it is accurately tuned and melodious! If you are wanting to learn an instrument, I think this is the lowest cost barrier.
