A: I really don't think that would seal I per say it's not to good at holding plastic that I have found.

**Q: If later I want to remove the cord trim, can it be removed without damaging my wall by applying heat?**
A: I would definitely try it in an inconspicuous area first. I use Gorilla hot glue when I want something to stay in place for a very, very long time.
