Our rules do not allow the use of a precut body so we planned on using one from a book that I had purchased. We decided that there wasn't anything unfair about using their design so we traced theirs onto a paper and used the cheap WEN scroll saw I bought a few years ago to cut my sons cars. We used a balancing kit and a scale and were able to shave some more weight from the front of our car and add a little more weight in the form of scissor cut stick on weights and glued on tungsten weights towards the back. We also cut the wood thicker at the axels so that we could drill our axel holes instead of using slots. We did not use their axels or wheels either as that is against the rules but thats fine because the axels we prep actually are better. I can't comment on the wheels bc I never checked the quality. The car ended up looking a little rough but at least my son could say he did the work that wasn't too dangerous like the cutting and he won first place(out of 22) after 3 years of trying. If you decide to do something similar, be sure to get your balance just right so you can get as much weight in the back as possible without risking a wheelie and crash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Winner! *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2018* Sleek and cool.
