No ball jamming, so far. The hose has no kinks either. Perfect. Will try it out when we have another torrential downpour. Thank you! I am returning this item. The glass ball jams all the time making it impossible to siphon. It even jams when not trying to siphon. Review: The Original Safety Siphon 1" Valve Siphon Pump - Firstly, this is a true 1" I.D. (inside diameter) hose. The increased flow rate of this siphon pump compared to the 1/2" diameter (Original Safety Siphon) that I have been using is insane. I use this to drain my aquarium of 15 gallons of water at a time... it just took a little over one minute. I should have picked this up a long time ago. My biggest gripe is that there were 2 kinks in the hose when I received it, otherwise it's great. A little expensive but all USA components and assembly. ## Features - TRANSFERS 3.5 GALLONS PER MINUTE WITH ZERO EFFORT β€” This self-priming siphon pump delivers an impressive 3.5 gallons per minute transfer rate, making it one of the fastest manual siphon pumps available β€” no sucking, no mess, no frustration. Simply squeeze and let the pump do the work for gas, diesel, water, and more. - UNIVERSAL FIT FOR CARS, BOATS, LAWN MOWERS & MORE β€” Whether you need to transfer gasoline from a jerry can, drain a flooded boat, empty a riding mower tank, or move fuel between vehicles, this 1" valve siphon pump with 10-foot hose is the versatile solution homeowners, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts search for again and again. - WORKS ON VIRTUALLY ANY LIQUID IN ANY SITUATION β€” From draining a flooded basement to transferring kerosene to a space heater, emptying a fish tank, or moving oil between containers, this self-priming siphon pump handles the widest range of liquid transfer tasks of any pump in its class β€” one tool that replaces a dozen single-use solutions sitting in your garage collecting dust. - 10-FOOT HOSE REACHES WHERE OTHER PUMPS CAN'T β€” The generously sized 10-foot hose gives you the reach and flexibility to siphon from deep tanks, awkward angles, and hard-to-access fuel containers β€” a feature frequently cited by customers as the reason they choose this pump over shorter, less practical alternatives. - THE LAST SIPHON PUMP YOU'LL EVER NEED TO BUY β€” Built for durability and designed to handle gasoline, water, oils, and home brew liquids alike, this self-priming siphon pump is the one tool every garage, boat, and shed should have on hand β€” because the best time to own a reliable siphon pump is before you desperately need one. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01N7PD5YX | | Best Sellers Rank | #226,487 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #38 in Industrial Food Grade Hoses | | Brand | The Original Safety Siphon | | Brand Name | The Original Safety Siphon | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 71 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 120"L x 1"W | | Item Length | 120 inches | | Item Weight | 1.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | The Original Safety Siphon | | Material | Copper | | Material Type | Copper | | Nominal Wall Thickness | 0.04 inches | | Outside Diameter | 1 inches | | Product Dimensions | 120"L x 1"W | | UPC | 656103027071 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** The Original Safety Siphon - **Color:** White - **Item Length:** 120 inches - **Item Weight:** 1.3 pounds - **Manufacturer:** The Original Safety Siphon - **Material:** Copper - **Nominal Wall Thickness:** 0.04 inches - **Outside Diameter:** 1 inches - **Product Dimensions:** 120"L x 1"W - **UPC:** 656103027071 ## Images ![The Original Safety Siphon 10 Foot Hose For Gasoline And More - 1" Valve Siphon Pump - Use for Cars, Boats, Mowers - Self Priming Pump Transfers 3.5 Gallons per Minute - FDA Food Grade for Home Brews - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gsbStP6gL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UPDATE: No ball jamming *by T***T on July 29, 2021* 8-2-21: Just received the replacement (very quickly).
