Printed instructions are lacking, which I prefer, but the video does a great job of showing the process. This has been my experience so far, within the first 15 minutes of installing. I will update if anything changes. As far as the protector goes, installation was pretty easy. WATCH THE INSTALL VIDEO FIRST! Then, starting with a CLEAN phone, start the installation. If you have oily finger prints like some of the negative reviews I've seen all over your phone ,of course the protector isn't going to stay. So clean phone, then clean it again with the wipe, microfiber and dust sticker. Pop in the alignment tool (without touching the phone with your greasy fingers!), lay the protector on, a quick press, then proceed to the two step part of application. It's a REALLY great way that they've done on how to install this. It really ensures that you're not going to get a bunch of dust or fingerprints trapped. I have one absolutely micro air bubble in my install, we're talking the size of a pinpoint here. I suspect it will work itself out in the next 24 hours. Even if it doesn't, I can't see it unless I look at juuust the right angle. The feel is incredible, truly. It's every bit as good as a tempered glass protector, which I'm shocked about. Fingerprint reader works perfect. Zero issues. So good that I didn't even have to re-register fingerprints after installation. My pre-install prints work with zero issues. Most people received their phones within 4 days of ordering. Even with an eta of March 22nd I ordered my S22 Ultra on 2/22 and will be receiving it on 2/25. Samsung was playing it safe with their estimated dates of availability. **Q: How are there so many reviews if the S22 Ultra isn't even for sale yet (only pre-order)?** A: I was able to order this phone months ago, however hadn't pulled the trigger, probably due to personal commitment issues, probably rt childhood trauma, but, I digress. ended up ordering through Samsung directly, Verizon, who, as a long-term and loyal consumer (LTL) planned to invest through unfortunately laughably offered at best close to 1/4 storage of the S10 i was replacing. Samsung seemed to have stock issues when I finally ended up ordering in mid/end march. I think Preorders for the US started in January for official US Feb 25, release date. release/delivery dates everywhere else in the world were probably sooner. my current phone was shipped direct from a Samsung manufacturer site, likely sat in US customs 80% of shippment time. The case/screen protector is pretty decent especially rt cost. The camera lens cover (probably the most important part) was the worst. Awkwardly bulky, fell off within a day or two of applying, got almost a week out of one bc I didn't use the phone or bring it with me to work. **Q: When installing, there's a tiny little air bubble on the screen that I can't get out with the squeegee. Will it work itself out eventually?** A: No they probably won't, could be tiny flecks of dust, if not and If you have the the outer plastic you removed after installing film protector take that put over area and re squeegee the bubbles to edge of phone. It won't work I'd its flecks of dirt or dust. You will have to take off and redo with new film. **Q: Do you really need to put the camera protector on? Is it worth it? Do a lot of people put it on?** A: I think it would be worth putting a camera protector on to protect your lenses ... If anything changes over time, I'll update accordingly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've given up trying to get a screen protector for the Samsung S22 Ultra - Updated *by S***1 on August 27, 2022* This was going to be my last effort to find a screen protector that works with the S22 Ultra. To be fair this is an extremely hard phone for a screen protector. It has curved edges on the display and an underscreen finger print sensor. The one pro to this item is that they give you everything that you need to install it. Lots of wet and dry wipes, a guide to help install it, written instructions and even a protector for the camera array in the rear. That part was nice, but everything else was pretty bad. I've installed lots of protectors in my life so I know how to install them. I made sure everything was clean and the area was dust-free and I took my time doing it, but here are the cons: (1) Regardless of how careful you are in installing it you are going to get some small bubbles at the edges that you can't swipe away. Not the end of the world, and maybe after a few days they would have gone away, but still. (2) The feel of the protector was strange, it felt even stranger when using the S-pen and it picked up fingerprints badly so you have to constantly wipe the screen. (3) The whole point of using a film screen protector is that it should work with the fingerprint sensor, but this one didn't work very well. In order to get it to work you have to press down very hard, and even then it is hit or miss. This was after increasing the screen sensitivity. I could have reregistered all my prints, maybe that would have worked, but every time you reregister prints you have to also reregister them in every app that uses them such as banking apps and so forth, so it's a royal pain. (4) One of the best things about the S22 Ultra is the screen. This protector cast a type of "haze" over it so it is not as nice as the bare screen. (5) It scratches very easily. Maybe it would heal itself after a while, but it feels bad and is a constant headache if you have your phone set up to use gestures. (6) The rear camera protector doesn't hold down very welland sticks out quite a bit so unless you use a case that works with that it could be an issue with a lot of cases. Anyhow, all in all the negatives far outweigh just using the phone without a protector. The screen on the S22 Ultra is very scratch resistant anyway so why mess it up with something like this? The worst part is that it is just money down the drain. Sure, you could return it but the seller knows very well that it's not worth the hassle of trying to return something this inexpensive. Update: The seller contacted me on their own and offered to send me a new pack of protectors for free. They did this quickly and without me asking them. That level of customer service deserves an upgrade in their rating. I tried again with the new pack and it went better. Sometimes I think different batches have newer adhesives, since I can't think of any other difference since I use the exact same application method. That being said if you have an S22 Ultra or any other modern phone with both curved sides AND an in-screen fingerprint reader you should really think before you try to use a screen protector. I have yet to find any type of screen protector that works well (either glass or film) with a phone like this.
