You are absolutely right - there is no mention of the amount of hooks! However, I have bought them 3 times now and I can promise you there are 5 hooks per box. Each hook has two "prongs" as shown in the picture. They are an excellent product - I use them everywhere! They are very strong - I hang damp towels on them as well as coats, dressings gowns, and bags/rucksacks. I have stuck a hook on the inside of the doors of every one of my wardrobes, airing cupboard, understairs cupboard, etc! **Q: Do you have to leave these to set for 24 hours or not?? They not only were the most affordable, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them. They look great! They're the perfect size, built really well, come with all the bits you need to install and I have ordered more for the rest of the house. I had the screw-on ones which are called "Silver J Modern - 2 pack" and they screwed into the back of my solid wooden doors with ease. The cover caps that hide the screws really match well and finish off the product.
