I don’t think it would work to reform edges, and I’d also be concerned about the sanding because of the compressed wood. Kneading it is hard when it's so crumbly. I ended up adding a drop or two of water into the amount I needed and that made it spread so much easier. It's great after applied! Seamless painting and you couldn't tell I had to patch anything. Pretty odorless and foolproof.
