I would say this is perfect for a teenager if they like the packaging it comes in. I thought it was cute and smelled nice for a little while. This would be more of a novelty gift more than anything. **Q: Can this be considered as deodorant?** A: Don’t think so. It only lasts a couple hours max. And the scent is really subtle. **Q: how long would this last?** A: If your question is referring to how long the scent lasts, I apply it in the morning to pulse points and can still catch notes of it into the evening without reapplying. As far as how long the perfume bar will last, I think it will last a substantial amount of time. It's akin to a lip balm, but seems to be more dense, so depending how often you use/apply I think will determine how long it lasts. I've only used it a few times so far and haven't even put a dent in it. I purchased the 3 different scents that were available and really like them all. **Q: Is this suitable for a young girl?** A: Yes! All very cute although the ivory one is my least favorite in terms of smell the other two are nice. Ivory smells like baby powder, orangey smells like fresh, clean and kind of fruity, and the violet one is floral/jasmine scent. Though they don’t seem to be the type for long wear.
