It is big and heavy (as expected), but it works well. It had one corner chipped off but otherwise it was in good condition. It comfortably fits 1000 pieces and I imagine 1500 pieces would fit too. The drawers are very helpful for sorting. Could be my age, but I find sitting at the table with the legs of the table up to be quite uncomfortable, and the height a little high for practical use. However, if the legs are not up, I found I can work comfortably with the board placed on a table or other surface. Make sure you have a big enough place to store the board when not working on the puzzle. The plastic cover will be helpful for people with cats. Maneuveribilty is a little hard for me as a single person because the board is very heavy. I just have to do it slowly and carefully. Would be advisable to move it from one place to another with two people to avoid injury, damage to the board or the puzzle pieces shifting around. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
