I especially like the reusable basket where the loose tea goes. It's easy to fill and empty, unlike those little screw-top tea thingees on a chain. But this teapot does have drawbacks that others have mentioned. First, it's rather small. I bought the one-liter version and, while I haven't bothered measuring its volume, it can't possibly be a liter. The stainless steel is sturdy and attractive but shows every fingerprint and waterspot. Yes, the little spherical knob gets hot, but once the water is added and the lid put in place . . . so what? All in all a good little teapot if you like the look of it and only need a small pot. PS: You'll need a brush of some sort to clean the inside because you'll never get your hand in there.

The only reason I'm not giving this a five star review is because of the tea basket. I got the 1.5 liter size and if you want to make two cups of tea the tea infuser isn't long enough to be submerged by the water, so you have to make at least 3 cups of tea. Otherwise, its very durable and keeps my tea hot till the last cup so I'm happy with it.
