As shown in the picture the distance between the two coils in my set up is 33 inches. B** A: As long as the majority of the cable is wrapped around the pipe, it should be effective. The minimum distance is 1-inch space between the two impulse cables. There is no maximum, technically the more the impulse cable is wrapped around the pipe, the better and more effective the treatment will be. the further the impulse cables are from each other the less surface area the cables are capable of covering the pipe. **Q: Will the 1 1/2" setting work on pipes that are 1" or should you just use the 1" setting?
