Review: WEN 10-Inch Polisher - GREAT PRODUCT! - Found myself looking for a new car polisher, after the Craftsman brand I had used for years bit the dust. After researching on desertcart and other locations, I decided to buy the WEN 10- Inch Polisher. Used it today for the 1st time, and I am very impressed. Unlike other reviews that mention the heaviness of the unit, I found this to be relatively light-weight, and easy to maneuver around my cars when polishing. I even used it with one hand in some of the hard to reach areas. While only one-speed, I let the polisher do the work, and it removes the wax easily! I still apply the car wax (Maquire's Carnuba Wax) by hand, but found removing and buffing the car to be a breeze. And I'm one who applies wax all over the car, chrome trim, windows/mirrors and throughout the body of the cars, and this polisher works great! I used the cotton polisher pads that come with this product to remove the car wax, then buffed it up to a great shine using the wool buffer pads I bought separately from WEN. The hard plastic case that it comes in is great for storing the polisher unit and the buffer pads, all in one place in my garage. Great product, well worth the money.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does yours make a nasty 'knocking' noise? As if something is lose in side?**
A: YES within a few minutes it started knocking at an angle and soon was knocking even when level. Unfortunately I didn't try to use it until the Amazon 30 day return policy had expired.

**Q: comes with 3 different pads ~what is each 1 used for**
A: Can someone be more specific about which bonnets are used for each job. There's a yellow shaggy one, a terry-cloth one and a microfiber gray one. Which one is used to apply wax and which one is used to polish? I assume the yellow shaggy one is used to remove wax and buff both applications.

**Q: Is the WEN 10PMC 10-Inch Waxer/Polisher variable speed?**
A: No. One speed.

**Q: Does the on/off stay locked ON, or does it require constant contact?**
A: Flip the switch to on and it stays on by itself.

Nice waxer polisher very much needed for wax this big truck of mine very smooth and good power and looks great and does a wonderful job, speed controls are good and the accessories are great very much needed

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protect the foam base!
*by M***E on October 9, 2025*

It works as advertised, make sure you always protect. The base foam with the provided covers, I actually bought different higher quality covers, but the buffer performs in exactly the way I would expect it to, for the price you really can’t beat it. It has a little bit of weight, which helps working some of those spots that you need to spend time on, all in all, I would recommend it.
