**Q: What color are the hooks...brown or black?**

Thanks for your question! The hooks are black but they have a rust effect on them that is a brown.

**Q: What is the depth from the back of the wood to the front of the hook (furthest point from the wall)?**

Thank you for your interest in our product. The depth is approximately 3.25 inches from the back to the most protruding part of the hook.

**Q: Does the whitewash look white? Or is it more grayish?**
A: Mine has some definite white to it but there are some gray areas too. It's a pretty nice balance  and is pretty rustic. It is what I would consider a pretty classic white wash look.

**Q: Can you Screw it through the top even know it has something on the back for that?**
A: It’s wood, so if you had long enough screws I guess you could, but I would recommend hanging it the way it’s supposed to be hung. It is very pretty and it might not look as nice and there is always the chance of splitting the wood. It comes with hanging hardware including anchors and a level, with a measuring tape it’s very easy to hang using the hooks on the back.

I needed a coat rack to put coats, hats and umbrellas on it. It fitted very well with my decor and I am very pleased with how it looks and functions. It even came with a spirit leveller so it could be put up straight, I thought that was a good idea. I would recommend this product and supplier to my friends and to anyone who would be interested in this product.

Joli design mais deux longues fissures dans le bois qui mettent en doute la solidité du produit. La finition peinture whitewash sur le rebords du dessus laisse à désirer. Je l’ai renvoyé, dommage.
