They are surprisingly heavy compared to the cheap dinner set I have previously been using and the glazing in fantastic on all of the plates/bowls. They do indeed stay warm for so much longer than my old plates so no more cold meals for me!

I purchased this dinner set because of a 'bad review' that said they held the heat for too long - well, this is a sign of a very good quality plate/dish so I popped them straight in to my basket and haven't looked back since! They are surprisingly heavy compared to the cheap dinner set I have previously been using and the glazing in fantastic on all of the plates/bowls. They do indeed stay warm for so much longer than my old plates so no more cold meals for me!

These dishes are well-made, heavy, and have become our new "formal" set (we gave away our Royal Doulton china as it didn't match our newer decor). The plates and bowls are sturdy, microwave and dishwasher safe. Excellent quality product as it is European-made.
