One really nice feature of this latch is that there is almost no play between the door and the door jamb, when the door is closed. This makes it perfect for doors to conceal hidden spaces. This can be powered by an inexpensive 12 volt power supply readily available, right here on amazon. The only complaint I would have is that there were no bolts included for mounting the latch and no guidance on what size bolts to buy. The latch has 3 holes threaded so that small bolts can be screwed to it for attaching it. You will probably have to take it to a hardware store to find the appropriate size bolts.
