Even 'dried' its tacky. That said, any sunscreen claiming not to be is probably lying or doesn't work. Put it on in the morning so i could wash my hands after, its thick like honey and you want to spread it out quickly as it does dry on quite rapidly. Spent the whole day walking around in the sun on a hot June day and didn't burn so it does the job.
