I applied it every morning after sunblock but before I got dressed because it's a little oily. I waited about 5 minutes for it to absorb before I got dressed. I sprayed each arm twice moving upwards, my legs in 4 places (2 front and 2 back), the back of my neck, shoulders (if I was wearing a tank top) and the tops of my feet if I was wearing sandals. I sprayed my hands and patted it on my face/ neck area, otherwise I rubbed it in. It's important to apply it everywhere that is going to be exposed and a little bit under those places where clothes meet the area exposed (if that makes sense). I reapplied just in case if I was going out that night. Reapplied sunblock over it throughout the day and certainly sweated a fair amount but it worked like a charm. For a 7 day trip and two people using it I still have some left in the bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the best insect repellant ever *by A***R on November 11, 2015* This is the best insect repellant ever! Only very little is needed to keep your skin safe from all kinds of bites, stings and ticks. Living in rural Florida, where there is lots of swamp land on our property, we are able to work outdoors anytime. We also enjoy camping and never leave without our 10 Hour repellant. We also stock the less concentrated varieties, as some people have health concerns surrounding DEET. In the small sample of my friends and I, those using the weaker stuff get bitten, those using this product do not.As for health concerns, the only reasonable ones that I found, however, related to the use of DEET during early development; that is, it's not recommended to be used during pregnancy.
