Does the warranty automatically go in effect or do I need to register it when I receive it?** A: The TLP6B features a lifetime warranty. If you would like to place a claim on the warranty, you must provide proof that the product is covered under warranty. This can be confirmed by the product's serial number or with proof of purchase in the form of an invoice or receipt from a Tripp Lite authorized dealer. Warranties on Tripp Lite products begin on the date of your product purchase. **Q: Is the plug a flat plug or no? I need something that doesn’t have a flat plug** A: Hello, and thank you for reaching out about the TLP6B surge protector. This device does not have a flat right angle plug. If you would like a flat right-angle plug, we recommend Tripp Lite's SUPER7B surge protector. If you would like to discuss your application, please contact our award winning Chicago-based Presales Applications Team at 773.869.1773 (M-F 8AM-6PM Central) and we will happily answer any additional questions you may have. **Q: Why would a person have to buy an extended protection warranty if there is support to be a lifetime warranty on this product already?** A: That's a good question. Maybe the lifetime warranty is limited. **Q: would this work on 220V supply?** A: Hello, and thank you for reaching out about the TLP6B surge protector. This device is only compatible with 120V electrical systems. For a 230V compatible surge protector, we recommend Tripp Lite's TLP6B18 surge protector. I burnt out 2 bars from other such outlet devices but this one manages it all without any issue at all Where I live, power is limited to one circuit and so a lot is plugged in. While not everything runs at the same time, there's a tendency to mildly borderline the circuit's capacity at times. I am watchful for this of course. But this bar is quite surprising. Has not failed once. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Replacement for old ones *by on Reviewed in the United States 4 February 2026* These are perfect for what we need. They last forever so we have to remember after several surges to replace them.We like the lifetime guarantee. We had one surge where the device got zapped and scorched. Tripp Lite replaced that for free. We like they are the size that doesn't shout "here I am" They are moderately priced but if you lose a high tech unit you'd pay a lot more. These are perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Muy bueno *by on Reviewed in Mexico 9 July 2019* Muy buen producto, cumple su funcion ## Frequently Bought Together - Tripp Lite 6 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 6ft Cord, Black, $10,000 INSURANCE (TLP6B) - Tripp Lite TLP808B 8 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 8ft Cord Right Angle Plug, Black, Lifetime Insurance - Tripp Lite TLP128TTUSBB 12 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 2 USB Charging Ports, Tel/Modem/Coax Protection, 8ft Cord Right Angle Plug, Black, Lifetime Insurance & $150K Insurance --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/395183955-tripp-lite-6-outlet-surge-protector-power-strip-6ft-cord](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/395183955-tripp-lite-6-outlet-surge-protector-power-strip-6ft-cord) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
