Or do we have to cut to size?** A: yes they are pre cut 6 inch wide by 24 inch long. they work real well. for best results definitely do your prep work. i have these on wood steps going to my basement from an outside door. i washed the steps with soapy water and a rag. then made sure to rinse down the steps with clean water. make sure steps were completely dry. peel backing and laid the tread down from front edge to back edge to keep them flat and centered. Not sure how long have had them down. but very satisfied with the result. definitely do the prep work . **Q: Can you put these on your outside steps in the cold?** A: My answer depends on your location . . . if you are Florida "cold" the treads will preform well . . . if you are Eastern Oregon "cold" as we are, the treads will not adhere and will not preform well; suggestion would be to wait until at least dry and 60 degrees to install for optimum performance. **Q: Want this, but my steps have 11 treads (very common) so a 10 pack is no good. Skipping a step would be a real safety hazard. Do you sell 12 packs?** A: I would not suggest skipping a step to save money at the risk of safety. We also had to order an extra pack but were able to sell the unused treads at our next yard sale. **Q: We’re renting... if we put these on the new deck to help our senior dog and take them off in a few years, will there be damage to the deck?** A: Not sure because we have not had them long enough to know how they will wear. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for our slippery outdoor wooden steps *by W***D on 17 November 2023* Very happy with this product. We had to add these to our wooden steps to our pool area, as our dogs are getting older and their feet were slipping through the steps, so they were not wanting to come down them anymore. Once we got these onto our steps, they are very happy to be joining us again. SO happy we got these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impeccable *by R***N on 8 May 2025* Posée sur des marches en bétons pour un de mes chiens, elles ne ce décolle pas et résiste très bien aux intempéries ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steps safer for family and guests *by S***R on 3 June 2026* My husband installed these LifeGrip anti-slip traction treads on a couple of steps in a low lighting area and they made an immediate difference. They looks great and with all the lights are off glow in the dark. The surface has a gritty, high-traction texture that add a noticeable amount of grip without being overly bulky. Installation was straightforward just clean the surface, peel the backing, and stick them down. The adhesive feels strong and once applied, they stay in place without lifting. Overall, this is a simple but very practical upgrade if you want to make stairs or walkways safer for family and guests. ## Frequently Bought Together - LifeGrip Anti Slip Traction Treads with Reflective Stripe (10-Pack), 4" X 28", Best Grip Tape Grit Non Slip, Outdoor Non Skid Tape, High Traction Friction Abrasive Adhesive for Stairs Step, Black - Grip Tape - Heavy Duty Anti Slip Tape for Stairs Outdoor/Indoor Waterproof 4Inch x 35Ft Safety Non Skid Roll for Stair Steps Traction Tread Staircases Grips Adhesive Non Slip Strips Nonslip Walk Black - Hyber&Cara Anti Slip Grip Tape Glowing in Dark, Non Slip Adhesive Stair Treads, High Traction Safety Tape for Stairs Steps Decking Indoor & Outdoor, 50mm x 5m --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/393990342-lifegrip-anti-slip-traction-treads-with-reflective-stripe-10-pack](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/393990342-lifegrip-anti-slip-traction-treads-with-reflective-stripe-10-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
