- KATO adopts a replaceable sound nozzle design, which can be easily replaced by a quick-release structure with screw thread, and comes with sound nozzles made of two different materials (steel and brass). Users can not only experience the sound changes for different materials by replacing the nozzle, but also replace the blocked sound nozzle more conveniently.
- KATO is equipped with the newly self-designed and developed Spring Tips, which suppress weak resonance through special diffusion structure, and significantly lower the high-frequency linear distortion caused by nozzel resonance, thus making high-frequency timbre more natural. At the same time, the special material of earplug tips cap can better fit the ear canal without being sticky, and featured with the special reinforcing rib support design to prevent the bass loss caused by sound leakage.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do they compare to the Timeless 7HZ?**
A: The Timeless is a great IEM but I returned due to quality control and the planar driver has a metallic ring with some percussion which I find distracting. The Timeless bass is good but also a bit bloaty in the mid bass area which loads up your ear canal a bit much. I ultimately chose Kato as it's just more natural and cohesive. Good luck!!

**Q: Any recommendations on large eartips that create a better seal than the supplied silicon eartips? Base is decent but could be better?**
A: I would recommend spinfit cp100 if you need bigger tip. However, in my case ,I found that I need longer tips not bigger so I go with spinfit cp145 medium.

**Q: How good are these for gaming (audio quality) when compared to the Aria's SE? (Ill be using Linsoul cable for mic)**
A: Moondrop Kato are solid for gaming with really good imaging and detail audio. Aria Snow edition tend to lean more on neutral side of tunning, but I would still consider the Kato as an upgrade on clearity and dynamics alone.

**Q: Can it handle a 240 mw balanced output power from a dac like the fiio btr5 2021? i am planning to buy an extra 21core 2.5 mm balanced cable.**
A: They can.  They are not hard to drive but 250mw is not too much.  That DAC is a good pairing.

Preço elevado, como tende a ser com equipamentos de áudio de boa qualidade. Agudos e médio-agudos com alta definição, ótimo para vozes femininas. Subgraves imponentes e controlados, médios naturais. Um bom fone em minha opinião. O encaixe não é perfeito, ele deixa de vedar de vez em quando, principalmente por conta do peso do cabo. Nada que me incomode muito, então mantenho as 5 estrelas.
