I did not receive this bag from the seller and purchased one from Dream Duffle instead. **Q: I'm looking to purchase this for my daughter's dance competitions. How many costumes would this size bag hold?** A: Because every costume is different, it's hard to give you an exact number. We rate it as 7-13. Depending on the routine and size of costume, we've filled it up with 5 costumes...but had as many as 13. It's outfitted with 12 Heavy Duty D-rings which help keep your costumes in place during transport. It's helpful to know that Closet Trolley is in the "Large" family of dance bags with garment racks. It's not as large as some, but any larger...it becomes cumbersome to handle, especially for kids. If it were any smaller, you'd fill it up very quickly or wouldn't fit the long costumes very well. Measuring in at 30" long x 17.25" wide x 16.5" tall, it's really the perfect size...and one of the best values for the money. **Q: What color is the interior of the bag?** A: Like a slate silver / charcoal grey. It's designed so that you can see objects when they're in the bag. If it were black, sometimes you can't see items as easily. **Q: Where do the rack pieces get stored when not using? Do they fit nicely into the bag or are they to carried separately?** A: The rack pieces (3 pcs) fit nicely into a pouch and the pouch fits nicely into the bag. The pouch simply lies diagonally across the Closet Trolley. Most people pack the rack on top of the contents so that the rack can be set-up before unloading the Closet Trolley. There are other brands that the extension poles collapse down into the bag (they don't remove) but in order to collapse that small, it requires a lot of joints. The result is a rack that is very unstable and "wobbly". The Closet Trolley extension poles only have one joint resulting is a much sturdier rack compared to other brands.
