Important notes: -If you have a car make before year 2009, you will need to replace the CAN gateway to avoid battery drain -If car makes before 2009, its multi steering wheel buttons can not control this stereo. -It doesn't fit 2016/2017/2018 V--vv vehicles. You may need a Canbus adapter decoder simulator for the car made before 2009. Supports All PQ35 PQ46 Cars Model. Radio Plug Size Same As RCD310, RCD510, RNS315, and RNS510. Review: Great Product, Easy Install (if you did your homework) - Great head unit, OEM, installed easily, works correctly. I want to address some complaints from other reviews: 1) "Needs an adapter for the OEM camera" -- Yes, and that is stated in the description. ALL RCD330s use a composite video input (RCA). US/Euro VW headsets use RGB Cameras. You can get a $50 adapter from Scosche, or run a new camera with an RCA output. 2) "Had to mess with my airbag wires" - WHAT? This is literally a plug-and play that --at most-- requires 12V/GND for the video adapter (see above). If you are messing with other wiring, you did it wrong. 3) "Chinese so it's a copy" -- The OEM Units (like this Densay) are made in China. That's why VW put them in their less expensive cars in their less expensive markets. Could it be a copy? I don't know -- but it looks legit to me, and the fact that it came from China doesn't mean anything. Basically, you're taking a head unit (a good one) meant for the Asian/South American market and putting it in a US/Euro Volkswagen. You can get a fully functional VW head unit for a fraction of the cost of a US/Euro part.
Review: Very good value. - Great product, works straight out of the box. Used it on my VW 2014 Passat. Works with CarPlay and has no issues.

A: Yes it will fit it. Ihave a 2012 Passat and it fit it perfectly.

**Q: What would be required to hook up my subwoofer and amp to this headunit? i'm looking into swapping out my system from my mk4 golf into my mk6 jetta.**
A: There are no line level outputs so you would either need a Line Level Converter or just get an amplifier that supports speaker level inputs. Tap into the rear speaker signals at the B pillars with posi taps. That's what I did with my daughter's Subwoofer in her 2011 SEL.

**Q: How do i use the mirrorlink with my galaxy s20? the headunit tells me to download car mode app, but then it won't let me.**
A: This carplay is only compatible with Apple not android.

**Q: Will this work with my 2012 VW Jetta?**

For an older car this is the best upgrade you can do. Apple CarPlay works great. Very easy installation, took me longer to get it out of the packaging. This is a second hand unit not new. Am radio doesn’t work because of the frequency the china uses. I usually listen to the hockey games on AM. Easy fix though, I just listen though my phone. For 500$ it was a no brainer to upgrade to this unit
