This knife will work for light duty jobs around the house or out camping. In a pinch it can also be used for self defense. I use it as a neck knife. They also make other models: one has a clip point and the other has a tanto point if you don't want a dagger. **Q: Is the blade flat on sone side like some of the Cold Steel daggers?** A: No. The blade has two sharpened edges the full length of the blade. **Q: Would this work for bushcraft?** A: My opinion would be no. it's too small for a lot of Bush Bushcrafting chores this is more suitable for self purposes. This would be slightly big for everyday carry unless it's sweatshirt weather, but it works well for utility use. The rivets in the sheath are too small to get a length of paracord through (believe me I tried), so had to drill out a couple enlarged holes, and then it was easy. I don't know if you're supposed to get a pocket clip, but I did not. The knife itself is just fine, sturdy and sharp out of the box.
