I used on soft wood, would not recommend using hardwood. I cut only one hole at this point, time will tell how it holds up. The pouch is pretty cheap but is satisfactory. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Broke relatively easily. *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2022* This product is an interesting concept, and I was very excited to use it. However, it didn't last very long. The anchor at the bottom of the bit was warping and dulling easily, even when used to drill holes in soft woods. While I could have looked past that detail, the weld easily snapped as I was using this tool. The head got stuck on a stick (seen in the photo above), which, of course, is to be expected. As I could not wrench the tool from the stick, I began to hit it with a sand mallet near the base of the tool (near the weld). This is when the weld snapped, and my forty dollars in this product was lost. I would like to emphasize that I never struck this tool with a solid hammer, but rather a plastic sand mallet, which is arguably a softer material than most wood, which was advertised to be used with this product. I was genuinely disheartened at the failure of this tool, both due to the money, and hope I had invested in it, only for it to fail. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for Bush crafting. *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2022* Easy to use while trekking with a couple tools in one. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/391637046-saker-bushcraft-hand-auger-wrench-survival-tools-for-bushcraft-survival](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/391637046-saker-bushcraft-hand-auger-wrench-survival-tools-for-bushcraft-survival) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
