NOTICE MakeTheOne IR Torch is NOT regular flashlight with white LED for general lighting purpose. Infrared Light with 850nm wavelength cannot be seen with bare eyes. To make use of this IR illuminator, you will have to see through the night vision devices such as night vision monocular and goggles. IR light need to be detected by night vision scopes or non-IR filter cameras. only small and faint red glow on the LED to show the torch is on IR LIGHT RANGE It is relative to the NV device it supports and IR sensor. If the standard 850nm NV device is supported, the IR torch light range will be up to 20-30m. Review: Note: apologies for the quality of the photos it’s a bit awkward to get this sorted. For the nod nerds it’s a gen2+ tube salvaged from an ATN NVM-14, cloudy night w/ 0% ilum (new moon) Picked this up as a backup light to sit in my crye nightcap, it gives good illumination and can reach decent distances to help identify objects or animals/livestock. Easy to source batteries since it’s a basic AA, good build quality and compact enough to comfortably store inside the counterweight pouch of my crye nightcap. My only gripe is the lack of adjustment with the zoom. The light is already fairly zoomed in like a spotlight and provides little adjustment to that, I’m going to counter this via a DIY diffuser to use it as more of a floodlight for navigating, but like I said for the money paid it is a good deal and is a functional piece of kit, I would highly recommend this and will be doing so to mates who run similar setups

**Q: In thr second picture. It shows the light attached to a camcorder. Does anyone know what that is that is used to attach it?**
A: Custom mount just for the add.

**Q: Is the tube 1”**
A: The "finned" part of the light is a hair over one inch and will fit into a mount as long as it's not more than 5/8" wide. That is the space from the bottom of the clip and the furthest back on the zoom so it will operate properly. So, you could mount this one a weapon I'd say .223 max and you'd be taking a chance on a shotty 12ga.

**Q: work with sony nightshot?**
A: if it has night vision it will work great with this light

**Q: Will a 14500 battery work in this, and will it improve the light strength??**
A: Yes, but I would recommend running the 18650 battery as the capacity far exceeds the 14500.  Also if yours came with that little plastic sleeve make sure your using that around your battery.
