Product Description The Red Lion RL-SPRK100 115/230 Volt, 1 HP sprinkler irrigation pump is idea for both residential and commercial lawn and turn sprinkling systems. This pump features a rugged cast iron casing, high efficiency thermoplastic impeller and diffuser and is to easy to prime to 25-ft - no additional priming is required after the initial fill. This pump comes factory set for 230 Volts but can be easily switched to 115 Volts. Instructions are found in the manual. Pump voltage must be set to match source voltage or it will not perform to the specifications. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the gpm go down if using 110 v instead of 220v?**
A: No...  when voltage is cut by half the current (amps) will double...   power will remain the same...   When using 120v you will need a larger circuit breaker than if you were using 220v...

**Q: The wiring guide is not super clear. Are the two screws next to l1 and L2 the terminals for the white and black wires?**
A: Thank you for purchasing a Red Lion sprinkler pump.  We strongly recommend employing an electrician familiar with sprinkler/irrigation pump installations to avoid personal injury or property damage.  This is especially important as the pump is in contact with water.  There are two terminals marked L1 and L2 and the positive and negative wires gets attached to these two terminals using crimpling loop sleeve clips.  It doesn’t matter which wire goes on L1 or L2.  The ground wire gets attached to the green screw.

**Q: Runs hot and shuts off after 2-3 minutes. Why?**
A: Wish I knew, the one we have runs hot too.  Only installed it briefly and haven't had the time to have it checked out. Really wish I had not purchased.

**Q: I need a self prime water pump which can lift water from a river 30ft below the pump. Can you recommend one?**
A: If the well is 4” or larger use a submersible

After only 4 months, the pump burned out. NOT DURABLE and I cannot return. Electrical was hooked up correctly, 230V, and all was in order. Not worth going on the cheap.
