It has a silver tamper-proof seal over the dispensing hole under the screw-off flip lid.The cleanser is white, light and creamy in texture.It doesn't have much of a smell at all.This is a face wash type cleanser. I have not tried it as a make-up remover.I apply this to my face in a massaging motion and once I have covered my face I use a warm damp face cloth to wipe my face or just rinse my face with warm, not hot or cold , water. I then pat my face dry.This has lots of ingredients to help fight spots or other breakouts. It is a gentle cleanser designed for those with spot prone . I no longer have any spot issues but do have sensitive skin. This is a balancing product so doesn't over dry out the skin by stripping it of all its natural oils.It does have many not so natural ingredients which is what puts me off. It does state not to use it if allergic to chlorhexidine , niacinamide or any other ingredients in the product.The product is made in the UK which I always prefer as I like to by British when I can ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works also as a light mousturiser before bed! *by A***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 June 2021* Disclaimer: please note this review is based on the use of all three products from the range - a face wash, a lotion cleaner applied after and a spot cream for targeted care!As said earlier, we have the full range and this is my daughter's go to cosmetics! She uses the wash daily in the morning and after school, then applies the cleansing lotion, mousturises for the day ( just a basic cream) and when usinbg in the evening, she may apply a post cream onto brewing spots if there is any need.The lotion usually goes after the foam wash and acts not only as an additonal cleanser to get all the impurities out, but also it works as a night cream, as it does provide a degree of mousturising too.One thing we did notice is that ever since she introduced these two products into her routine, she rarely uses the spot cream, as there is no need, so they must be effective!Can recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A really good anti-spot cleanser which isn't drying *by T***� on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 May 2021* I love this cleanser, and am giving it a rare 5-star review as it is definitely a cleanser I would buy again and really have no complaints about at all.I've been using it nightly to combat my occasional breakouts, and it really has helped my skin. Normally I find that any skincare designed to target spots can be quite drying, especially with continued use, but this cleanser comes out as a smooth cream which isn't drying at all.
