The bass is cleaner, tighter, and much more noticeable when watching movies or listening to music. Review: Great small room sub! Wont disturb the neighbors. Music and movies both sound great! - Perfect for studio/small apartment! I wanted something that would provide bass for a small room but not shake the walls and windows and upset the neighbors. This speaker is it! You can fine tune it for your listening preference and honestly if you have it up far enough it will rattle the walls no problem. I leave it about half way and thats perfect for me. Also has a small footprint and goes almost unnoticed. I had an older Pioneer powered sub with dual 6.5s. This is much better sounding. I listen to a mix of music and movies and the sub works great for both. Dont expect booming low level bass because thats not what this is. It does a nice job even at high levels. It just doesnt rumble your dome off!

Absolutely an amazing subwoofer. Zero complaints with klipsch and their products, everything is made very well and tuned perfectly. For a little 8’ sub, this thing absolutely packs a mean punch, super deep lows and extremely clean sound. Perfect for a better than standard desktop setup or a small surround sound system. Klipsch never fails to deliver a good product. Absolutely recommend spending the extra few bucks to get klipsch if your looking for a budget setup. Just don’t crank that gain knob!!
